Two years ago my father passed away and my brother and I along with my father’s wife of 18 months were assigned as trustees to administer my father’s trust and wishes. After 7 months of following my father’s wishes the “wife” decided to sue my brother and I and the Trust to pay some debts she owed. It was over a joint tenancy checking account she was added to for convenience to help pay bills. She accused my brother and I of elder abuse and conversion.
